Well, the final TIE Network event of 2008 has wrapped up and is "in the bag."  We had a fantastic time "sharing the gift of technology" at the VSU ETC on Tuesday, December 9th. Becky Crosby started us off with a tour of the Thinkfinity site which is FREE to all parents, teachers and students.  Then I showed the ins and outs of the TIE Network website, and we had two GPB apprentices filming the session for future viewing on the web. The biggest hit of the evening was Ray Yody's session on wiki building.  By the end of the night each person had created a wiki to use in the classroom! As a final wrap-up session, we discueed some advanced blogging techniques, and we practiced blogging in the TIE Community Blog section of the site.

I want to thank Becky Crosby for helping me to coordinate this event in Valdosta and for recruiting TIE members in the region to attend.
