Georgia Stories has the same web address (www.gpb.org/georgiastories) but a brand new look in appearance and content. The website supports the Georgia Social Studies curriculum for 8th grade students. However, researchers and history buffs from all over the world have turned to Georgia Stories as a resource for Georgia history.

Visitors to the site will still find the excellent video series by the same name produced by Georgia Public Broadcasting Education. That content is now presented as 107 individual stories or video segments, and each one is linked to a specific Georgia Performance Standard.  An outstanding collection of primary resources in the form of historic documents and photographs are available to educators through this new website.

New features include This Week in Georgia History, a GPS index and Teacher Resources and Study Guides updated with additional video and web links. More new features are planned for the near future.
