Wiki, Wiki, Wiki, What?
(Tuesday, 22 July 2008) Written by Katherine Aiken

I saw this video for the first time during the 2008 TIE Network Summer Academy held in Decatur, GA, and I loved the clear explanation of the wiki.  As an artist, I also enjoyed the simple illustrations and animation techniques.

In the future, I will begin any wiki workshop with this video so participants will have a clear "picture" of the way a wiki can be used.

According to video creator Lee LeFever, "We made this video because wiki web sites are easy to use, but hard to describe. We hope to turn you on to a better way to plan a camping trip, or create the next Wikipedia."

Lee and Sachi LeFever are creators of Common Craft. Check out their website for more cool technology explanation videos!  Topics include social networking, podcasting, blogging, Google Docs , Twitter, and more.

Lee and Sachi also have a site called The World Is Not Flat where they have posted some of the most beautiful photos and personal reflections recorded during their travels to 29 countries between December 2005 and January 2006.
